Hello list,
here are the instructions for installing speech hub to use open mary
tts. First this only works on Ubuntu 13.03 and 13.10 as far as I have
tested. So here we go.
First you will need to instal java open jdk and here is the command
sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jdk
Now you will need to download these 2 files
http://www.accessiblefreedom.org/speech-hub-install.sh
http://www.accessiblefreedom.org/speech-hub-orca-install.sh
Now that you have these downloaded you will want to make them executible
and then install them. Now reboot your computer and go into orca
preferences and you will now see speech hub along with speech-dispatcher
and you will see open mary with espeak and the pico voices.
