Re: [orca-list] Could not initialize BrlTTY:

Hi.
I do not use a braille display, this is why I need to disable braille support in orca.

Hi,

On Debian we install brltty-x11 and xbrlapi to make brltty work on X.
Otherwise, BRLTTY needs to be built with X support. Is that done? Do you
find xbrlapi in /usr/bin? Do you have /etc/brlapi.key?

Hi Joanie.
I found the following in orca's debug file:

BRAILLE LINE: 'Browse mode'
     VISIBLE: 'Browse mode', cursor=0
Could not initialize BrlTTY:

Is BRLTTY really running?

Seems that this is happening everytime orca speaks something.
probably you already know that.
Thanks.
