Hi.
I do not use a braille display, this is why I need to disable braille
support in orca.

Hi,
On Debian we install brltty-x11 and xbrlapi to make brltty work on X.
Otherwise, BRLTTY needs to be built with X support. Is that done? Do you
find xbrlapi in /usr/bin? Do you have /etc/brlapi.key?

Hi Joanie.
I found the following in orca's debug file:
BRAILLE LINE: 'Browse mode'
VISIBLE: 'Browse mode', cursor=0
Could not initialize BrlTTY:
Traceback (most recent call last):

line 1711, in init
_brlAPI = brlapi.Connection()
File "brlapi.pyx", line 303, in brlapi.Connection.__init__
(brlapi.auto.c:4571)
brlapi.ConnectionError: couldn't connect to b':0' with key
b'/etc/brlapi.key': b'connect: No such file or directory'
(brlerrno 11, libcerrno 2, gaierrno 0)
Is BRLTTY really running?
Seems that this is happening everytime orca speaks something.
probably you already know that.
Thanks.
