Ncurses stuff usually works very nicely in consoles with speakup set to highlight tracking. you can usually use apps that want dbus in a console by either exporting the display in the console you are working in, or for one off commands, dbus-launch your-command When using terminal emulators, be sure that the window is maximized, or you may not see much of anything. Flat review is a must for most terminal work for me. -- B.H.
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 hi Orca should work just fine in a terminal. It has weird issues sometimes, like not announcing the first line of text at the top of the terminal and skipping entire lines of text. But they're not frequent, and they odn't happen all the time. For work like this, orca should do nicely. You might want to double check wth flat review that the option you think you're on is the one you're actually on though. Orca has issues with ncurses based applications like text browsers and irssi sometimes. If I can track these issues down I'll report them as bugs against orca so they can get fixed Thanks Kendell clark On 08/11/2014 09:13 PM, Hank Smith, and Seeing-eye dog Iona wrote:Hello I just got set up with rent pbx pbx in a flash system when first setting it up you have to ssh in to the system and select the version etc. you do this via up and down aros. will latest sonar version work under terminal and allow me to select using aros? or will I have to use special orca commands to work in the termnal with desktop running.
