Re: [orca-list] orca and braille question

I realized I was slightly unclear in my first message. In all three of
the partitions I mentioned, brltty detects my display. The problem is
that in two out of the three, Orca does not connect to Brltty.

I am trying to get Brltty to communicate with Orca on Arch Linux. I am
able to get Brltty to start and successfully detect my display, however,
the only thing that is shown on the display is the "screen not in text
mode message. I checked to make sure brlapi was importable. I also
verified that a brlapi.key file existed and that it had correct
permissions. I have another partition with a fedora 19 install on this
machine where brltty works. However, on my desktop where I also have
fedora installed, brltty does not work. All three of these are up to
date. I also deleted the orca prefs folder in .local with hopes that
this might work but I am not having any luck. Does anyone have
suggestions for troubleshooting steps beyond this? Thanks in advance for
the help.
