Re: [orca-list] An Orca or at-spi crash using firefox

Hey Kyle.

I'm not seeing a problem with Tab, but I was able to reproduce a hang on
that page. I'll investigate and fix it.

Thanks for the report!

This is the form to join the cacert.org community. The problem appears
at the month field in the date of birth. I can read the entire line with
flat review, but if I tab onto the month dropdown box or if I attempt to
read the line it's on using any standard navigation function, all speech
stops in all applications. I must toggle the screen reader off and then
on twice by pressing the alt-super-s keyboard shortcut 4 times in order
to get speech back. The first time I press the shortcut, Orca says
"screen reader off" and triggers the system bell, which is expected
behavior. However, it doesn't speak again until I press the shortcut for
the fourth time, at which point it says "Screen reader on" and behaves
normally. The problem is occurring both in Orca 3.10.2 and the latest
Orca master, which I just downloaded within minutes of writing this
message. I am currently running at-spi version 2.10.2. This would
almost seem to be an at-spi problem, but I'll leave the diagnosis to the
experts <smile>. Thanks for any help.
