Hi folks,
I'm finally getting around to connecting and testing out my Braille
Sense U2 with GNOME and Orca. I've started Orca and ensured that
braille support is enabled. I verified that brltty is running in the
background.
On my Braille Sense, I enabled USB Terminal Mode and connected the
cable. On the braille display itself it says "Screen not in text mode."
I am wondering if I am missing something here or if it is possible that
the problems I've had with BRLTTY and HIMS Braille Sense U2 are existent
here as well. Is anyone else successfully connecting to GNOME with a U2
display?
I have had problems with BRLTTY using U2 on Android and associates
report the same problem connecting to NVDA with their U2, which also
uses BRLTTY.
Thanks if anyone has any additional information for me. I'd sure like
to get this beaucoup expensive display up and running soon. Smile.
Bryen
