Re: [orca-list] Orca master Regression found in Firefox 25 and Thunderbird 24

Hey Peter.

Your assessment is correct about the appropriate event not being
present. Seems Gecko is only giving us a focus: event in that case.
Hacked around it for now. Will file a bug against Gecko soon.

Thanks for the report!

    Hello,
This is a result of testing orca master with firefox and thunderbird.
When reading a web page or an email message it is possible to use the
applications key to open a context menu. Unfortunatelly as the context
menu appears orca does not reiceve an appropriate event. While screen
reader is controling caret inside the document content moving using
arrow keys moves inside the document. In order to start navigating over
the menu which has just popped up we have to press shift+arrow key or
shift+home or shift+end to force moving focus to a different menu item
which is then properly handled by orca.
