Re: [orca-list] About ORCA Installation.

Might want to consult your laptop's user manual. Sometimes, the "super" or
Windows key is reassigned to a function key combination like fn+alt or
fn+ctrl, something like that.

The Super is also labeled as the Windows key on some keyboards, but it
doesn't sound like you have a windows key either.

    Hello,

Yes, Ubuntu comes with Orca. You have to activate it when you start
the machine either with control s if you use Ubuntu 12.04 (long term
release) or shift super s if you use 13.10. Many Linux
distrubutions come with Orca installed. Two that come with it
already activated are Vinux and Sonar. These two specifically
target visually impaired individuals. Googling "Vinux" and Sonar
linux" respectively should produce the links to visit their
respective pages and learn more about them.

I am a visually impaired person of Bangladesh. I want to use Linux
OS. I came to know from your site that Ubuntu has default ORCA
screen reader. I want to know that when I install Ubuntu does ORCA
talk. If not how can I install ORCA. Please inform me.

    Sincerely Yours
