I have gotten Jim Kitchen's SAPI5 games running in Wine. In Arch, I
needed a package called winetricks to make the speech work. If I
remember correctly, installing the speech package using Winetricks gave
me Microsoft's Mike, Sam and Mary voices. I then installed eSpeak, which
isn't exactly easy if you can't see the screen, but pressing enter a few
times usually gets you through that. The same goes for the game menu
program that you have to install to get the Life game and the main menu.
Everything else can be handled with the archive manager unzipping to
.wine/drive_c/Program Files (x86)/kitchensinc. Once you have all the
games you want unzipped, everything should just work.
