I send an attachment a patch with revert temporary this commit your local Orca source tree. This patch resolve your experienced issues. Please apply the patch with patch -p1 <patchname command and recompile Orca. My Ubuntu 13.04 all similar you experienced issues are resolved after I applied this patch, recompile and install Orca.
