[orca-list] [potentially off topic] speech-dispatcher's spd-say and orca conflicting

Hello,
I've written a few simple bash scripts that use spd-say to talk to the
user. But, if the user has Orca running, and Orca trys to speak a
message, Orca interrupts speech from the script.
How can I get around this?
Does Speech Dispatcher have a queuing system so that no messages are
lost and this doesn't happen? If so, it doesn't seem to be enabled. Is
there a config option for this?
Bill
