Thank you for this link. I am glad to see that the author is interested in fixing things, even if the exact 
cause of some of the problems is a little hard to diagnose. Now that I’ve had some time to play with it, I’m 
very happy with what I’ve seen of Gnome in general. Long may progress continue.
