I don't know what the details of an installation like that would be.
When I do an installation, I start with the s boot parameter and as soon
as possible set debconf priority to low. Even doing that, no choices
are provided as to which sound system ends up on debian during the
installation.

Hi Jude,
If you want a Debian system without pulse its better off to do a clean
install and install the packages manually so you don't have to rip
pulse out and a bunch of other stuff, and reconfigure everything.
Cheers!

Hi, I'd like to trash pulseaudio for more reasons than that. What can I
use on debian to clear that off a system? pulseaudio throws all kinds
of errors on boot up.
