Gnome shell works well. One thing I'm glad to see is that the message tray is now accessible. I haven't tried kde yet and I agree, parts of unity don't work. One other thing I've noticed is that libre office is buggy. Orca is sluggish when entering 
text, and in gnome shell, there is no menu bar. Is there a way to correct this?
