Re: [orca-list] problems to access dash with orca

Confirmed!

I'm running the Ubuntu 12.10 GNOME Shell Remix with updates applied, and no other modifications. Items on the dash are read as 'push button'.

Cheers,

Dave

Hi all.

I don't know if the problem is related to gnome-shell or orca, but it is not possible to access the dash in gnome-shell using orca.

To reproduce try the following:
1: press alt+f1.
2: Press ctrl+alt+tab until you hear dash.
-- 3: Try to navigate in the applications using arrows or tab.

Orca reads push button but not announce the application's name.
I am running ubuntu 12.10 with all updates and gnome-shell version 3.6.1.
Thanks.

Thanks.
