[orca-list] delay in menus

Hi all.
I've observed some delay in menus  after I use my machine for a while.
I press the f10 key or the alt+f10 key to activate the menu bar but
orca take some time to announce that the menu is active.
The same happens when I use right and leff arrows to select another menu.
The interesting part is that if I restart orca the problem disappears.
Any ideas?

I am running ubuntu 12.04 with all updates and orca 3.4.1.
