Hi.
I can not imagine what is wrong. This is exactly the command that I use
to debug orca.
Perhaps orca is trying to write the debug file on a directory in wich it
has no permitions?

hi,
i entered the following command and now orca doesn't come up by default
on system start.
orca --replace --debug-file=logfile.txt
when i try to start orca manualy it kinda reacts slow and doesn't speak
much.

Hi, you can run orca in debug mode.
In debug mode orca print a lot of things, including what is sending to
synthesizer and to the braille device.
To run orca in debug mode use the following command in a terminal
session:
orca --replace --debug-file=orca.debug.out
orca.debug.out is the output file where orca will write the debug result.
