Hi,

the primary difference between Trisquel and Ubuntu is that Trisquel uses
gnome instead of Unity. They also seem to do more accessibility testing
in regards to their DVD image and is far more accessible out of the box
than a stock Ubuntu distribution. Its great for a stable day to day
distribution, but unfortunately lags behind with packages for some of us
who want to do bleeding edge testing with KDE, Gnome, Orca, etc. If it
weren't for the fact Trisquel is six months to a year behind the stock
Ubuntu distribution I'd probably use it full time myself. However, if
you are looking for a stable distribution for day to day use Trisquel is
definitely a decent choice.
Cheers!
