Thanks for the reply, Thomas.

I just exported the QT_ACCESSIBILITY environment variable, but nothing 
is happening if I open a QT application. I tried VLC in this instance.

I guess there is something I am doing wrong. I'm open to other 
suggestions, though! <smile>

Once again, I really appreciate your reply. I know that the instructions 
you gave are one step in the right direction. Thanks again!
