Re: [orca-list] opening .xz files

Just do an apt-cache search gnome-speech and see waht you find. I do not think it will be there. If you want it, you will have to upgrade from squeeze to get it.

Hi.
Ah, that simple.

Is there anywhere I can read about gnome-speech in wheezy?
I've not seen on any place that it isn't supported at all.
There are even such packages to install in wheezy. for example gnome-speech files for swift and dectalk.

Hi.
How do I open the xz files?
Give the J option to tar; like this:
$ tar -Jxf myfile.tar.xz
