Re: [orca-list] pygobject >=3.0.2?--wasRe: Applying Your Patch? (fwd)

Hi there

I ran the command

sudo apt-get build-dep pygobject

Then I went to my orca-3.3.4 directory and ran

./configure

and it gives me errors to do with pygobject still.

checking for pygobject: no
error, package requires pygobject 3.0 or greater requirements were not met..

How should I proceed?

Hi,

Get pygobject sources as shown below. once you have it, do:

sudo apt-get build-dep pygobject

In the directory resulting from the unpacking operation, do

./configure
make
sudo make install

Try installing pygobject from source:
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/gnome/sources/pygobject/3.0/
