Hi,
since the "fix" of the brltty package in arch linux (s. recent post on
this list) it is completely broken for me. I added the corresponding
user as well as root to the new brlapi group (by editing /etc/group),
The file /etc/brlapi.key belongs to user root. but braille does not
work on startup and when invoking brltty from gnome-terminal and with
orca, the message "not an AT-SPI2 widget" is shown, independend from
if I continue in gnome or change to a text-only console. Did I forget
something or what steps are necessary to run brltty as global! daemon
on startup again? The description you provided seems quite confusing
to me and I am currently understanding it like that it is not possible
to run brltty as daemon any more...which would of course be quite fail.
Thanks,
Jakob
