Re: [orca-list] Gnome Shell Keyboard Shortcuts?

Yes, it sure has come a long way. I rather like it, actually and that
was a pleasant surprise. Seems more comfortable than Unity 2d for me.

Hi, Alex!

I found those areas, and could move around as the docs and you say I
should. I added and removed some favorites, using the context menus. I
looked at my wifi hotspots on the 'network' menu, enabled 'shut down' on
the 'dave' menu, and was able to navigate the 'battery' menu, though there
seems to be no level indicator visible. I like the grouping of
multiple windows for an app into that list you can cycle using
'alt+'. App and window switching is still a bit laggy, probably due
to orca trying to keep up with the previews and 3-d stuff? Gnome shell
a1y has come a long way since last fall!

cheers,

Dave

If you control alt tab to top pannel and toggle on the activities
button, you should be able to cycle to these areas with control alt
tab. Don't know of a single keyboard shortcut.

Hi!

I'm giving Gnome shell a try on a Ubuntu 12.04 system, and am looking for
keyboard shortcuts to the dash and favorites. For example, a single
keystroke to put focus on the dash, and a way to choose a favorite, such
as 'super+1', as in Unity-2d. The cheat sheet in the Gnome wiki doesn't
show these. Maybe they're available using a shell extension? If so,
where do I get it, and how, in general, do I apply extensions to Gnome
Shell?
