Are you sure this isn't the problem that was discussed on the
debian-accessibility mailing list several weeks ago?
If it is, then
ln -s /usr/lib/gtk-2.0/modules/libatk-bridge.so /usr/lib/gtk-3.0/modules
is the work-around until you upgrade to AT-SPI 2.
No I am not sure, since I am not subscribed to that list.
I tried your command, though, and it didn't work so either my problem is
different or I have the problem you mention plus another one.
Has AT-SPI 2 already been packaged for Debian ?
