Ok then, I'm going to reinstall Libreoffice, although I don't think it will make any difference.
My system is set to use the Swedish language and I have also selected to install the Swedish language pack 
for the office suite. So it's strange.

Libre Office is fine.  I have it on my Arch System and Under the
Office menu, there are the typical options like Calc, Writer, Impress,
etc.  I wonder what is missing from your package? Now I installed
Libre Office some time prior to the upgrade to gnome 3; don't know if
that might make a difference though it shouldn't.  From an a11y
prospective, LibreOffice is just as easy to use as was the original
Open Office.
