Re: [orca-list] How do I turn off flat review?

I don't quite understand the question here. When using applications
like Firefox, one typically uses the normal arrow and tab keys to
navigate around the screen, using the structural navigation keys when
appropriate. The flat review functionality is there but no good under
Firefox so what advantage would there be in "turning it off"? What
else would you do with those particular keys without flat review. If
this looks like a dumb question then do realize that you can't fix
stupid <smile>.

About the most likely place where I find flat review to be invaluable
is terminal applications or simply within the shell under gnome
terminal. I also have found it handy to read some dialogs that you
can't tab through easily.

Hi Anony, all

By default flat review is disabled, when you move focus the flat review is
disabled too.
Also You can use the minus keypad to enable/disable flat review.

Flat review is great for browsers when hotkeys or other keyboard
navigation
options are lacking, I imagine, but it is really getting in the way in
firefox.
Is there a way I can turn it off for applications that I can use better
without it?

Thanks
