Re: [orca-list] new thunderbird

Hi,

I know on my copy of Thunderbird on Windows the checkbox to disable the homepage is under tools, options and general. The same option should be in Linux under edit, preferences and general, though I may be mistaken.

Unfortunately, I don't use Thunderbird in this fashion, but I think you
can get the behavior you're looking for. I'd play around with the
options in Edit -> Preferences -> Advanced -> Reading and Display. In
particular, I'd experiment with "Open window in" and "Close window on
delete".

Hmm, so when i control+w out of a message for some reason it seems to
drop me to the "loading" page or what ever this is but either way it's
the welcome screen. I generally have to arrow back to the inbox page
Feature or bug? No idea
