Hi
My podcast at http://jkenn337.podbean.com/feed latest one really shows off the abilities of keynote
multimedia. Could we reverse-engineer this old unsupported software and make a version for Orca that would
work with speech-dispatcher or emac-speech server? The benefits of using keynote would be:
1. very clear and accurate speech with great pronunciation.
2. ability to add new tts languages if we find how keynote works and make our own.
3. Reverse-engineer keysoft for windows95. make a open source Linux cloan of it to provide an alternative
lite desktop running on Linux or even running as another optional software suite in Gnome.
4. a keysoft cloan for Linux would be great for beginners. Keysoft is much easier and more intuative than
emacs is. people would feel comfortable using it. check out the podcast and you'll see what I mean.
5. add a spreadsheet app web browser and some other stuff to the modified keysoft for Linux.
