Re: [orca-list] pasting web pages

This should work. You didn't say what you were using for reading
e-mail. The next time I'm in gnome, I will try copying a message out
of Thunderbird and pasting it into gedit. One thing to beware of is
sometimes, the hot keys may not always take for some reason; for
example one of those functions might be grayed out. So if not sure,
use the edit menu and then arrow down to select all and going into the
medit menu again and then choose copy. If any of these are disabled
because something didn't get selected, you will know immediately
because that option won't be available. I ran into a lot of this when
I was trying to copy / paste from the gnome terminal. I never was
successful at copying text from the terminal in recent versions of
gnome.

Ctrl + V usually works though.

i try ctrl plus a on a page, ctrl c to copy the page to the
clipboard, switch to evolution and do a ctrl v and the text doesn't
appear in the email.
