Is this for 32 or 64 bit, Hank?  I ask because there's one command that 
you need to run after you install the build from the site for 64 bit. 
Get the updated version of Voxin from:

http://voxin.oralux.net/update/voxin-update-0.28.tgz

Then extract it and run the install.sh script.  The command for 64 bit 
only, after Voxin is installed is:

'sudo apt-get install speech-dispatcher-voxin'
