Re: [orca-list] ssh X forwarding with orca

Hi,

I think you 'll have to do this by pointing orca at the opentts
/speech-dispatcher server on your local machin. The easiest way to do
this is port forward the opentts prot on the remote machine back to
your local one. If you don't mind what is being spoken going out in
clear text, you can point orca on the remote machine at the openttsd
on your local machine. unfortumetly I don't blieve either dbus or
corba is network aware, so you'll probably have to do it by running
orca on the remote machine, and getting speech where you want it as I
described above.

Hi,
ssh -x user host port etc
This works and the X session is forwarded.
How ever orca says inaccessible.

How can this be resolved or is it possible?

Thankyou
