Hi. Unfortunately, the Qemu monitor GUI isn't accessible at all. However, you could do something like the following when starting the vm: -monitor telnet:localhost:port,server,nowait the above will cause the Qemu monitor to be telnettable at server:port, to run as a server, and not to wait until the VM has fully booted up in order to become accessible.
