Hi Josh:

It is working OK -- when you say you get no speech, is this with the live CD?  If so, there's currently a bug 
with the login screen on the live CD -- it comes up when it shouldn't.  So, you need to press the Enter key, 
type "jack" for the username, press Enter, type "jack" for the password, and then press Enter to log in.  
From there, things should behave normally.
