Dear syr,

This approach worked for Ubuntu Hardy Heron and For Ubuntu 9.04. To installUbuntu 9.10, You have to use The blindness profile and boot directly to Thelive CD. I Am testing development release of Ubuntu if old approac, wheninstaller could be directly used by firstly activating The blindness profileand secondly by choosing install from The Ubuntu boot menu.
