[orca-list] Fw: accessible log in

my blog is at http://jkenn337.klangoblog.net (updated frequently). Tired of Microsoft Windows and paying thousands for screen-readers? try out NVDA, get a mac--, nvda--for Windows, or try out and switch to grml, Ubuntu, Vinux, or knoppix-adriane Linux desktops. Knoppix ubuntu and vinux-cli-max are the most accessible for beginners. also try vinux-gui and encourage those at www.cherrypal.com to use windows-xp and nvda knoppix-adriane Vinux-cli-max or grml so all blind people can have an accessible computer.

Thanks for the link, I already knew about this. But Knoppix does not use
any login, it is designed as a portable personal system for a single user,
who works from his/her own USB flash memory, so there is somply no case
where you really would have to use an aessible login screen, you are
already logged in an any time with your personal account.

Unrelated information: I tried to compile Xdialog (the graphical version
of the ADRIANE dialog menu system), but it seems that there are too many
errors: Umlauts and UTF8 is displayed wrong, tooltips don't work,
selected items are not reported correctly.. So, it
seems that the Adriane menus have to stay in console mode for a while
until a new version of Xdialog compiling cleanly in GTK2
(orca-accessible) is available from the original authors.

Regards
-Klaus
