Greetings,
Sorry if this is off topic but I've been attempting to find a way of installing Vinux via PXEBoot. The files
required are most likely compressed somewhere or even removed altogether to conserve space. Can someone
confirm this? If so and their compressed somewhere, what file can I look in? If their deleted, any
suggestions as to how I can continue?
Any other suggestiosn would be welcome. I.e, if I download the boot files for the standard Ubuntu
installation and then point the boot loader at the Vinux CD could that work? Again, the required files don't
seem to be contained within the ISO so I'm not really sure what my options are.
It's very likely that I'm missing something. I spent far too long looking into this last night so I could be
asking a completely stupid question. I kind of hope I am!
I have everything else working. The DHCP server has been set up to point to the PXE server. TFTP has been
set up and full access has been provided. I've also done some tests to determine that this is all
definitely working properly so I'm sure that once I figure out the Vinux side of things it will be very
straight forward.
Thanks
Darragh
