Re: [orca-list] two problems with Orca and Linux

On my desktop I could not switch with alt+control+tab to the panels but setting the option in Special Effects to none solves it for me.
Somebody correct me if I am wrong.
So for this I went to SYSTEM > PREFERENCES > and entered the option to choose for a theme, bakckground etc. the English name I can't remember because I use Dutch.

Subject: [orca-list] two problems with Orca and Linux

Hi list, here is Petr from the Czech republic.
I would like to ask you for advice on these problems:
1. I use Ubuntu - last version 10.0 and Pidgin communicator for ICQ in it.
But when i want to change some properties in pidgin and try to enter the properties item in menu, orca stops speaking, till i close this window. Is it possible to make this dialog accessible for orca?

2. I have ubuntu installed in two laptops. One of them is Asus EEE S101 and the second is Dell Latitude E6400.
On the Dell laptop, i am not able to switch between desktop and menu resp. task bar, by pressing ctrl+alt+tab keys.
On the EEE netbook it works well, but on Dell absolutely not.
I
ll be very happy when someone helps me to solve these problems.
Thank you and bye for now.
