Hi joanie,
I do agree with you about the documentation that is lacking in Linux for
screen reader users that come from Windows or different OSes. I'm not
saying that we copy Apple's documentation, but they do have
documentation that talks about different parts of the OS separately..
It has a document that goes through all of the assigned keystrokes and
differences for blind and partially sighted users. I know that the
Orca GNOME site is there and has good tutorials but getting a new Linux
user to use Firefox if they are coming over from Windows isn't really
discussed. Same for Thunderbird or evolution. If you need help writing
or editing Orca documentation, I don't mind.
