Hey all.
As promised, I took a look at Jokosher with Orca today. As I commented
in the Orca bug [1], overall, Jokosher is quite accessible which is
awesome. If more apps came to us like that, life would be very
pleasant....
There are a few things that a custom Orca script could make a bit more
compelling, such as providing extra context so that you know which
instrument the focused button applies to. However, most things work "out
of the box" and using Orca's default script.
There is one notable exception, however: The timeline does not seem to
be keyboard accessible. This means that the primary functionality that
you would presumably wish to access is not accessible, and that's
something the Jokosher developers need to fix. I found a couple of bugs
already filed for this issue [2], [3].
There are also a couple of more minor issues I found and filed ([4],
[5]), but which still should be fixed by the Jokosher developers.
Once the timeline issue is resolved, I'll work on writing an Orca script
for Jokosher.
Take care.
