Thunderbird might give a bit of pain while setting up. Nothing to do
with orca as such but i personally foudn it a bit difficulot to use it
with my gmail account.
but it is not a major problem and a person who did it before can
easily guide you.
once it is setup, the latest versions of thunderbird 3 + are the most
accessible mail client by far with orca.
Happy hacking.

My own impression at this point is that Thunderbird is a good choice. I
don't know why, but I didn't get very far with Evolution. I still have
things to figure out about Thunderbird, but it's serving my wife and me
fairly well while our Windows box is in the shop.
I do have a question on Thunderbird at the moment, though. As I type
this, I here every key echo twice. I did not notice this in the address
or subject areas, only when typing the body of a message. Does anybody
know of a fix for this?
Thanks!
Al
