Re: [orca-list] Daisy reader question

Hi,

That would be wonderful if you publish a list of daisy players in gnu/Linux. For sometime now I have been
looking at various daisy players on gnu/Linux. Most of them are not in active development. I started working
with the creators of AnyDAISY to make it work better on gnu/Linux.

Cheers

Hi Arky,
Emerson IMHO, is a good daisy player for Linux although it is not yet
completely developed.
It is java-based and does run with orca.
Find it at:

        *   emerson-reader -
Google Code daisy player

        *
href="http://emerson-reader.googlecode.com/files/emerson_0.6.2_i386.tar.gz";>emerson_0.6.2_i386.tar.gz
There are other players too, and there is the pipeline for production.
The pipeline seem to also be mostly accessible under orca, that is if one
choose to use the gui.
Write me off-list if you want a roundup on available daisy players for
linux.
I wrote it about two months ago.
Kind regards, Willem

Hi Attila,

You can try AnyDAISY extension for firefox. It is still largely in
development, if you find any problem report them to the developers.
