[orca-list] Orca/pidgin slowdown

Hello all,

I've noticed that orca becomes very sluggish in Pidgin after a few days
of steady usage. Control-tabbing is slow, flat review is slow, and even
Orca's reading of new messages is slow. Quitting and restarting Orca
doesn't fix the problem, but qutting/restarting Pidgin makes things
snappy again. Also, the responsiveness/speed of other applications are
not affected.

System specs: 3.0 GHz dual-core, 4 GB ram, Arch Linux 2009, pidgin
2.5.5, and orca/atk/at-spi from git running on gnome 2.26.2.
