Re: [orca-list] Opensuse 11.2

hi Christian,
as I know, there is only 11.1 version available:
Get Latest openSUSE Versions
Download openSUSE 11.1
http://software.opensuse.org/

I tried it and installed it on my sisters laptop. It is very good and
stable system with very good solved updates and perfect wireless
network management. But unfortunately, I was not able to solve the
replacement of Pulse-Audio with Esound despite the help from the
forum. Probably because of this, Orca was very slow, unable to read by
letter, with significant delay etc. Finally problem with Firefox (the
latest 3.0.x version) where Orca sometimes absolutely ignored Firefox
and read desktop or Nautilus below. But this was after those attempts
to remove Pulse Audio so it could be caused by me. Openoffice worked
OK (in 11.1 there was 3.0.1 version). But this is only my experience.
As I know, Aruni runs OpenSuse without any bigger problem.

Heliooos

PS: the laptop was HP 550, Intel Celeron, 1GB ram, 160 GB HDD, Intel
Media Accelerator GMA X3100, Broadcom wifi

Hi all,
I am htinking about downloading the Opensuse 11.2 DVD, has anyone tried it?
Have the accessibility issues been fixed? Will Firefox and Openoffice
now work proprely with Orca?
Many thanks,
Christian
