Re: [orca-list] orca and gnome do

Hi,

Bug report is here:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/do/+bug/255854

I think anyone interested should comment here so the gnome-do
developpers can see "the light".

Best regards,

Has anyone had any success with getting the controls to read with orca
in gnome do?

Not since I've tried last.

I filed a bug about it in launchpad, which almost immediately received a
response that Orca users wouldn't likely find gnome-do useful since it's
a visual app, which immediately made me relieved that I lived in such a
non-visual world where I never need interact with anything
visual.</rant> In any case, despite myself and others following up,
nothing has been done, even though it seemed like there was developer
interest in addressing this. Shame, really, since it really does seem
like it'd be an app that'd make GNOME access much quicker.

Good luck if you decide to follow up. It's so frustrating when
third-party developers don't take accessibility bugs seriously.</rantagain>
