Re: [orca-list] Liblouis

Hello,

No, that’s not what I mean. I’ve already disabled the Orca end of line symbol.

It’s really that some characters are different from what I’m used to see (feel).

I hope there’s a way to change from Braille table f.e. from US English to Dutch.

If this is not possible, then I’m interested in how to change the representation of the characters individually.

Thanks for the quick reply,

Now I gonna sleep so I will answer further emails tomorrow.

Kind regards,

Kristof

Hi,

Are the dots at the end of the line?

If they are, it could be the orca end of line symbol.

You can disable this using the Braille page in the orca preferences menu.

Hope this helps.

Ashley

Subject: [orca-list] Liblouis

Hello,

I’m new to Ubuntu and Orca.

My boss had installed it and I’ve only once tested.

I was wondering that f.e. a point was shown on my Braille display as dots 4 and 6 while I’m used to see dot 3 on my Windows computer.

I thought it had something to do with Braille tables but I could not found any options in the preferences menu.

Am I right that I have to install Liblouis to have these options in Orca?

With kind regards,

Kristof
