Re: [orca-list] OT: installing OpenOffice on Debian

Hi their.
Did you actually add the experimental repos to you're
/etc/apt/sources.list file? Also the first command you issued wouldn't
have worked anyways. The second one though, should get you what you want
BTW the "-t" option specifies an installation target.

Subject: [orca-list] OT: installing OpenOffice on Debian

Dear all,

I'd like to install OpenOffice version 3 which is packaged for Debian
Experiemntal, in order to test the odt2daisy project.

My system in a debian unstable.
I tried commands such as
apt-get install openoffice.org/exrimental
apt-get install -t experimental openoffice.org
and some variants with more packages listed on the command-line.

However, everything failed and it looks as if APT was never happy with
the dependencies.

Does someone know how to install ?

Many thanks in advance for your help,

Sébastien.
