I just tested it last week. There's a bug in the gnome-speech driver
that causes Python-based clients (e.g., Orca) to die with certain
Cepstral voices. The bug fix has been checked into gnome-speech trunk
and I'll make a new release for GNOME 2.24.2 later this month.
