If you are using BRLTTY, you can actually use the Cut and paste feature
provided by BRLTTY. It would need some fixing, currently it assumes
a US keyboard as far as I can see.
I use a US keyboard, but... don't you control cut/paste from your
display not the keyboard with brltty?
Yes, you invoke cut&paste from your braille display. My comment
regarding the keyboard mapping concerns an implementation detail.
