Re: [orca-list] setting up a launcher for ff3

I didn't build any special launchers or any of that. What I did is
originnally installed the dropline-gnome packages for Slackware 12.
That included Firefox 2.x by default and of course, that runs in
/usr/bin. I untarred FF3 and moved the entire subdirectory into
/usr/local/lib and called that dir firefox so I now have a complete
archive of firefox 3 in /usr/local/lib/firefox. I then created a
symbolic link in /usr/local/bin and call it firefox and it points to
the /usr/local/lib/firefox/firefox. What this all means for me is any
place where 'firefox' is typed or executed, it runs this local
version. thus my builtin shortcuts to run 'Internet' or open links
right clicked from the terminal, etc. All launch Firefox with no
additional fuss.

Hello,
Are there any instructions for setting up a desktoop launcher for
firefox 3? I can run it from gnome-terminal, but that seems clumsy.

Also, do we need the minefield tab or can it be disabled?
