Would you have any interest in doing one for replacing pulseaudio with 
jack?

I asked about that here a few days ago, but got zilch.

If you decide not to, I may try the experiment myself, and record the 
attempt--you have inspired me--but my gnome experience is rather on the 
limited side, so the way I would go about it might not be very GUI 
friendly.
